The approach to Chinese market 1) OUR will own the licensing and source codes of the product 2) OUR will provide product training to the partners in India for at 1 month. All costs incurred during the training will be paid by the partner. 3) The partner will assign a sales person and a pre-sales consultant to cover local market 4) OUR will provide support (first 12 months) in the following: a. System design b. Project sizing and effort estimation (together with partner) c. Product domain knowledge After 12 months, the partner should be able to perform the job on their own. 5) The partner who will be responsible for the following (OUR will allow the partner to take each activity below based on the readiness of the partner over a period of time): a. Project scoping b. Project manager c. Product customization d. Implementation e. Post implementation 6) Licensing on Elixir a. OUR shall provide the retail pricing for each country to partner b. Discounts will be given to partner for each module depending on sales performance. c. Partner will decide on end pricing to the customers subject to discussion with OUR. d. License maintenance and support fees is 20% of the retail price i. Customers are entitle to free product fixes and minor enhancements during the validity of maintenance period ii. Major version upgrade is not covered in the license maintenance (e.g. ver 5.0 to ver 6.0 is major version upgrade; ver5.0 to ver 5.1 is minor version upgrade)
