公元2008，举世瞩目的第29届奥林匹克运动会将在具有悠久历史的文明古国——中国北京隆重举办。值此举世盛典之际中华项目管理促进会（GPAC）于2008年11月1日至2日在北京清华大学召开主题为“IPMF 2008北京国际项目管理论坛——项目管理最佳实践：集成战略、组织与实施”。

The year 2008 is the year the 29th Olympics in Beijing, capital city of one of the four countries with ancient civilization. This is also the year the International Project Management Forum 2008 (IPMF2008) Beijing to be held in Tsinghua University from November 1-2 in Beijing.

GPAC国际项目管理论坛（IPMF）是GPAC组织的年会，也是大中华区项目管理界的盛事。IPMF2005以“中华项目管理最佳实践”为主题在北京清华大学成功举行；IPMF2006以“成就繁荣、高效、可靠的项目管理”为主题在香港国际会展中心成功举行；IPMF2007年以“企业项目管理的战略性思维—从概念到创造价值”为主题在台北成功举办。

IPMF is the annual meeting of GPAC, and is also a grand event of project management in the Greater China region. IPMF2005 themed “Best Project Management Practice in China” was held successfully in Tsinghua University. IPMF2006 themed “Achieving Prosperity, Efficiency, and Reliability” was held successfully in Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center. IPMF2007 themed “Strategic Thinking of Project, Program and Portfolio Management: Transforming Concept to Value” was held successfully in Taipei.

本届论坛由IPMF2008开幕式、大会主题报告、专题论坛、大会闭幕式等系列活动组成。届时，来自国内外最高水平的项目管理专业组织的代表和全国项目管理领域的精英将欢聚一堂，展望新世纪大中华区项目管理的发展趋势，分享大中华区项目管理创新和最佳实践应用的重要成果。
