We have been building products for the Mil/Aero markets for quite a few years in the prototyping arena, but the certification allow us to aggressively pursue full scale manufacturing for customers in these expanding markets. We have just started scratching the surface with new customers in these markets, but our ed hardy clothingare already very encouraging.The company develops educational materials for high school and collegiate classrooms as well as custom models for researchers, and also has developed software that allows researchers and teachers to design and build their own models that can be fed back to the company to build.The AS9100 certification provides assurance to Aerospace and Defense customers that HEI's quality systems are able meet the most stringent requirements of the industry.
The AS9100 standard requires companies to have robust systems in design and development, process validation, process controls, vendor management and wow power leveling.Instructor outreach programs are conducted at the center during the summer and “SMART Teams” of students are popping up across the nation and globally. SMART, or Students Modeling A Research Project are groups of high school students who use the technology available with the model developing software to research and create models for researchers and other advancements.
