Part One A Hilarious Party(欢乐聚会）

After the college's ritual of graduation,

My son received his bachelor's degree.

In return for his classmates' fellowship,

My family entertained them as guests at a banquet.

My wife kner a lot about nutrition.

And she had some really good recipes

In order to accommodate our guests well.

She began to prepare an abundant feast.

I was on a diet at the time.

Snacks and refreshments were my favourites

But I loved my offspring

So I "stepped in" to help actively.

My wife drew up a shopping list

I drove to the supermarket hastily.

Besides beef steak,sauce and grease,

I also bought peppers and other ingredients

There was a high attendance in our party.

The atmosphere was one with glamour

We decided to converge on the terrace.

to entertain so many participants.
